I have always loved music and singing (but mostly in private). This is the first time I have done it in front of people and I am having so much fun performing with my husband, old friends and new ones! My musical inspirations are mostly 80’s rockers including Bruce Springsteen and Bryan Adams but also more modern performers like Elle King.

I started Motorcar in 1990. Our first gig was on Labor Day 1991 in the gazebo at Sylvester Park in Olympia, WA. I have played Rock n’ Roll and written the songs we play today for 52 years! This band keeps me going playing the music I love.

I got my first electric guitar in 1981 and soon after I started playing along my high school buddies. I was heavily influenced by progressive rock bands of the 70’s and 80’s back then. In a sense, I still am. Then, life and its responsibilities took me away from the music scene until recently. I started playing with Motorcar during the Summer of ’22. It’s been a crazy fun ride so far. I don’t know where this new adventure will take us but I hope you come along and enjoy the ride.

DAVE

Dave hailed from a small coastal town in Sardinia. At a young age he became the Bassoon king of Europe. It was after getting his first Kiss album that Dave knew he must be a drummer. 20 years and 200 drumsets later, Dave is now rocking the Pacific Northwest. He will play anything on the drums (including Freebird).

Although I enjoy many kinds of music today, I began my musical journey with the likes of Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, and Iron Maiden. I married, had kids, and spent better than 28 years on the Seattle Fire Department. Retired, I now bring fast paced and heavy bass rhythms to add to the rocking mix as Motorcar’s newest member. It’s lots of fun to play with these talented musicians. Life is good. Come to the show and enjoy the evening with us!
